Sign up for a self-paced winter reading program through January 31. Read at least three books to win a virtual badge and the chance to win a prize.

First Day Nature Hike :: Thrive Nature Park
Take a walk in nature to welcome the new year from 10:00 – 11:30 a.m. The event is free, but registration is required.

Teens in grades 6 – 12 lead this free group, write and share their words, and hone their craft from 4:30 – 6:00 p.m.

A Chance to Dance New Years Celebration :: Thrive
Teens with special needs ages 14 and up celebrate the new year with dance, a ball drop, and more from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Admission is free.

Feed the City :: Rollertown Beerworks
Everyone in the family makes lunches for people in need on the second Saturday of the month from 8:30 – 10:30 a.m. in Celina. Visit the website to register.

Curiosity Club :: Flower Mound Public Library
Kids in grades 3 – 5 make their own fidget spinners using STEAM concepts on second Tuesdays from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. Free registration is suggested. Drop-ins welcome while supplies last.

Kids ages five and under attend a free story time every third Thursday from 10:30 – 11:00 a.m.
