Community Fireworks :: Wednesday, July 3 :: 9:30 p.m. :: Celebrate Independence Day with the simplicity of a 15-minute fireworks show over Josey Ranch Lake in Carrollton. Admission is free.

Stars and Guitars :: Friday, June 21 :: 7:00 – 10:00 p.m. :: Every weekend before the Fourth, Colleyville celebrates with fireworks, concerts, and food trucks at City Hall. This year, country music star Rhett Akins headlines the event. This is a free concert and fireworks show.

Liberty by the Lake :: Thursday, July 4 :: All day :: Kick off your July 4 with the Liberty 5K/10K/1M race at Stewart Creek Park (participants arrive by 7:15 a.m.) The parade starts at 10:00 a.m. Festivities continue 6:00 10:00 p.m. with concerts, food, vendors, family activities, contests, rides, and more.

Liberty Run 5K & 1 Mile Walk :: Saturday, June 29 :: 7:30 a.m. :: Back for its 26th year, Liberty Run will kick off Denton’s annual Independence Day celebration at Denton Civic Center. Participants will receive an event t-shirt and a race bag. Finishers receive a medal. Registration is $25.

Yankee Doodle Parade :: Saturday, June 29 :: 9:00 a.m. :: A traditional July 4 parade awaits you in Downtown Denton Square. Don your red, white, and blue, and bring your own lawn chairs. Admission is free.

July Jubilee :: Wednesday, July 3 :: 6:00 – 11:00 p.m. :: The party will really get started at July Jubilee with activities and entertainment for all ages at Quakertown Park and Denton Civic Center. Enjoy live music, food options, inflatables, contests, and more. A patriotic drone show will wow the crowd. This is a free event.

Children’s Parade :: Thursday, July 4 :: 10:00 a.m. :: Enjoy Flower Mound’s annual parade where kids ride their decorated, non-motorized bikes, trikes, and wagons at Leonard and Helen Johns Park. Free hot dogs, drinks, children’s activities, and live entertainment will be provided. Parade line up is at 9:30 a.m., followed by the parade at 10:00 a.m.

Independence Fest :: Thursday, July 4 :: 5:00 – 10:00 p.m. :: Celebrate the 4th at Bakersfield Park with fun and activities for all. Guests get treated to a vintage car show, local vendors, a concert with singer-songwriter Pat Green, and a stunning fireworks show. Admission and parking are free.

Lone Stars and Stripes Fireworks Festival :: Wednesday, July 3 :: 3:00 – 10:00 p.m. ::  Celebrate at Lone Star Park with horse racing and a fireworks show set to music. Kids can enjoy the petting zoo, pony rides, face painters, airbrush tattoo artists, inflatable slides, obstacle course, and games. General admission is $10. Parking is $20.

Independence Day Celebration and Fireworks :: Friday, June 28 :: 6:00 p.m. :: Haslet’s annual Independence Day event has an all-new venue at Haslet Community Park. Enjoy a train ride, bounce houses, rock climbing, and foam pit. Vendors open at 6:00 p.m. The fireworks show will begin just after dark. Admission is free.

July Jubilee :: CANCELED :: Thursday, July 4 :: All day :: July Jubilee is back with vendors, live music, and more. Two concurrent firework shows begin around 9:30 p.m. at Little Elm Beach and Little Elm High School with music simulcast on 95.3 FM. Admission is $5. Parking is $30 $50.

Family 4th (on the 3rd) :: Wednesday, July 3 :: 5:00 – 10:00 p.m. :: Families will gather at BISD Plaza for an evening of free games, bounce houses, and food trucks. Enjoy live music by the Texas All-Star Jazz Orchestra beginning at 7:30 p.m. The fireworks and drone show takes place from 9:30 – 10:00 p.m.

Independence Day Celebration :: Saturday, July 6 :: 4:00 – 10:00 p.m. :: Bring your blanket and chairs to Hilltop Truck Park & Bar in Northlake for a patriotic, July 4 celebration. Guests will enjoy outdoor covered seating, food trucks, beverages, live music, and fireworks. Admission is free.

FreedomFest :: Saturday, June 29 :: 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. :: Enjoy a day of celebration at Jake’s Place Park for the city of Oak Point’s July 4 celebration. Activities for everyone in the family include a waterslide, photo booth, food trucks, a pie-eating contest, and the veterans salute.

Pride in the Sky :: Monday, July 1 :: 5:00 – 10:00 p.m. :: Visit Frontier Park in Prosper as the community celebrates Independence Day with live music, food, family games, and activities for kids of all ages. The evening ends with a bang as fireworks explode to music. This is a free event.

All American Fireworks & Festival :: Wednesday, July 3 :: 5:00 – 10:00 p.m. :: The City of Roanoke will celebrate Independence Day at City Hall Plaza from 5:00 – 10:00 p.m. Enjoy free children’s activities, a pie eating contest, live music, and a fireworks finale.

Stars & Stripes :: Wednesday, July 3 :: 5:00 – 11:00 p.m. :: The city of Southlake will host its annual celebration of freedom and independence at Southlake Town Square with festival food, activities for all ages, and a dazzling fireworks show. Admission is free.

Freedom Fest 2024 :: Saturday, June 29 :: 5:00 – 10:00 p.m. :: One of the largest July 4 celebrations in North Texas, Sanger’s Freedom Fest will feature activities all day long for everyone in the family. Experience food and merch vendors, water slides, a petting zoo, carnival rides, live music from the Bellamy Brothers, and more. A 25-minute fireworks finale set to music will conclude the event at Porter Park.
