Beal Media is searching for new writers to join our team!
Beal Media, LLC is looking for North Texas contract, freelance writers to join our editorial team! These writers will create content for our four publishing platforms: Collin County Moms, Dallas Moms, Denton County Moms, and Fort Worth Moms.
Mission Statement: Beal Media, LLC exists to provide resources, encouragement, and community to parents in the North Texas area through its websites, original content, social media platforms, events, sponsorship partners, and community groups.

What does it mean to be a Beal Media writer?
Here’s what you give:
- Submit one article per month (500-900 words), which will be published on one of the Beal Media websites: Collin County Moms, Dallas Moms, Denton County Moms, and Fort Worth Moms.
- Attend (virtual) meetings once per month.
- Make friends and support fellow team members.
- Impact parents all across North Texas.
Here’s what you get:
- A flat rate of $45 per article (500 – 900 words).
- Your photo and bio on the Beal Media websites {with links to your personal blog, personal business, and/or social media handles if you choose to share them}.
- Access to the Beal Media team Facebook group and other internal communications.
- Opportunities to test out products and/or services.
- Information and professional development in the areas of writing, blogging, SEO, and social media.
- New friendships and an amazing experience!
Beal Media freelance writers will complete at least one article per month as assigned by the editorial team. There will be opportunities to write more than one article as that becomes available. Articles will consist of:
- Re-writing and updating archived topics
- Researching and writing resource-based content
- Reviewing and writing articles for sponsord services and products
- Submitting approved, pitched topics
What’s Needed?
If you are already a professional writer, awesome! If you are not, that’s awesome too! We are looking for writers who:
- Are currently parenting
- Live in North Texas
- Write well — clear, concise, and well researched — no matter the topic
- Have access to a laptop and/or desktop computer
- Have a Facebook account
- Are familiar with the Chicago Manual of Style
- Are familiar with Canva
