Fall Into Fall with Tea & Sandwiches :: Denton County Library @ South Branch

From 4:30 – 5:30 p.m., visitors ages six – 10 and a caregiver learn about tea and sandwiches at this FREE event. Register in advance.

Story Stroll Story Time :: Central Park Lewisville

On first Fridays, families with kids of all ages enjoy a FREE story at the park from 9:00 – 9:30 a.m. Story Stroll is also available any time the park is open.

Dog Days of Denton :: Quakertown Park and Civic Center Pool

A party for all dogs and their families features treats, swimming, a t-shirt, and wag bag. Hours are 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Tickets range from $25 – $100.

First Saturday Nature Walk :: Lewisville Lake Environmental Learning Area

Walkers of all ages bathe in nature during this two-hour hike from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Admission is free with a $5 car fee.

Teen Kit: Straw Weaving :: The Colony Public Library

Starting at 10:00 a.m., teens in grades six – 12 register for a FREE straw weaving kit to pick up between September 10 – 15 while supplies last.

Huffines Cattle Drive Parade :: Old Town Lewisville

The Old West comes alive at 4:00 p.m. with a live cattle drive, parade floats, and vintage vehicles. Admission is FREE for all ages.
